I made this poetry journal because I like to play with words and lines and I wanted to put somewhere some of my practice work (or first draft) in verse, written--within a very short time, probably daily on the spur of the moment, with the idea to work on the entries later--with or without the help of the astonished (should I say shocked?) muse.

Some of the haiku I have mixed with senryu, not only because I am not a purist, but also because I like to do what I like to do given what I feel at the moment.

I just love this, Joy. Saw it earlier featured on FB and couldn't access WDC to log in on my iPad with the FB/WDC link being fairly capricious.

Just love your weather-vane line and the idea of wind bringing fear. That sums it up so well for many of us sensitive to the wind's power and not being able to point our fingers logically in any direction.

Yeah! Yesterday I moved some pots around on the balcony and found a snail sleeping peacefully under an overturned one.

My favorite....this is gorgeous, Joy !
I can see flashes of lightning
illuminating the stony cold beach.
You capture the essence, sometimes
with a single definitive stroke.
