Emoticons are just preset images... they don't change size.
I'm going to preview this and post the screenshot so you can see how I see them...
There's about the same size as the default text size...
... which is correct: *Ball* *Wink* *Bigsmile* *Thumbsup*

If you use a larger {size} tag to change the font size, the emoticons are images and will not change with it.
