I enjoyed reading


Lisa Cron's: WIRED FOR STORY + STORY GENIUS.


The author marries brain science with writing advice as she says that brains are thinking up & telling as well as taking in & read / listen to/ viewing stories.

So when you want to engage the reader / listener / viewer in your story, you gotta hack their brain. Logical, right?

The latter book is especially interesting as she provides a novelist friend's of hers plotting a whole (original!) novel on her method to make her case.

Very enlightening, indeed.
