Oh, that sounds beautiful, Kit. I miss living in the country. I am definitely in the city once again. Too close to the hustle and bustle for my taste - but it's okay. At least I have a nice little roof over my head, a balcony and a pool in back. There are some benefits to apartment living.

It's only 4:40 am but it's going to be a beautiful, prolific day. Everything is going to go smoothly and peacefully.

My balcony looks over some trees where a variety of birds like to play. It's nice sitting out on the balcony watching them. Then watching the ducks, seagulls, crows and other big birds make their presence known every once in a while. There's woods to the side of us (I live on the side of the building, at the end) and we have a nightly possum who visits - he's soooo cute with that little bandit face. There's also a bird hawk that lives out there. I hope I never see him catch anything.

I've seen a hawk fly over with a squirrel in his claws, in the last place I lived. Poor baby.
