Featured in the Contests & Activities Newsletter 12/06/07 ![]() "Practice Random Kindness, and Senseless Acts of Beauty." I believe that Writing.Com embodies this beautiful quote in a wonderful way. Here, I have found a community inspiring and encouraging beyond imagining. This Holiday season, in conjunction with "Invalid Item" Thank you katherine76 for the beautiful ribbon! But there's a catch - You Must Nominate Someone that You Do Not Know. The spirit of the Kindness Tree is to distribute senseless acts of kindness to strangers. How will I know whether you are friends with the person you nominate? I won't. I am hoping that everyone will adhere to that rule with the Holiday Spirit in mind and with the desire to brighten up a stranger's day. We have a pretty loose definition of "stranger" here. REMEMBER.....
Check out the following resources to find someone to encourage: "Writing.Com General Discussion" "The WDC Angel Army" "Noticing Newbies" "Invalid Item" http://www.writing.com/main/current_users Donations will always be appreciated and all GPs will be used to grant gifts from the Tree. All donations 25,000 GPs and higher will receive a Merit Badge in gratitude. If any GPs are left over after this event, they will be donated to "Invalid Item" 🦄🏳️🌈Sapph ~Sue~ -lostdreams Nikola-Spooky Dog Mama terryjroo katherine76 Morticia Wednesday Megan Rose simply_complex commonman109 casper-writer Mandi sbutke If anyone is interested in helping me out as part of the Kindness Tree Staff, just post in the forum or let me know via e-mail. Check out this great cause: "Invalid Item" Most of all, I hope everyone has a great time brightening up the community!
