Create a parody as a tribute in celebrating 16 years of Writing.Com.

Did you ever sing a song, but couldn't help changing the lyrics into something funny? Well, here is your chance to create a parody, and possibly be rewarded for doing so.

A parody is a spoof or humorous re-interpretation of a known movie or song. For example, the "Scary Movie" films are a spoof of the "Scream" trilogy, whereas Weird Al Yankovic is well known for his wide variety of musical parodies.


Below are a few examples I found on Writing.Com that will show you what I mean.
