I suppose this is more of a question than a suggestion, but any thoughts on the subject would be nice.
What is the criteria for preferred authorship? In my writing.com readings, I have noticed that there are amazing authors who are very active in campfires and groups with black cases, while there are yellow-cased authors with low item ratings and, shall we say kindly, less-than-stellar campfire involvement. A friend and I were wondering just what the process involves.
I certainly am not saying that preferred authors don't deserve it; I've found most of them do. However, the entire thing remains a mystery to me, and I hope someone could shed some light on it.
