It was sometimes so hard to get work done. Andrew was getting frustrated with the conditions at home. The computer situation provided a nasty problem; everyone wanted to use it, but only a few actually got a turn. This was somewhat of a dilemma for him, considering that much of his hobby work required the use of the computer. And he was reminded of this painful fact whenever his friends inquired about his recent efforts. "…Done anything interesting on Bryce lately?" Jeremiah might inquire innocently. "How about 3D Studio Max? Nothing?" "Whenever I can," Andrew would respond exasperatedly. "…Hey, have you finished editing that video project yet?" Mark might remind him on another occasion. "No? You haven’t even started?" "Working on it! There’s only so much I can achieve in half an hour. A bit more time and I could actually get something done." "Don’t you hate it when you’re trying to get one last thing finished, and someone else decides to use it?" Mark replied sympathetically. They continued to bemoan the awful predicament. "At my house the big problem is that everyone has something they 'have' to do at some point," Andrew noted with irritation. "You give everyone half an hour, and nobody can really accomplish anything." |
