Recreating the Wheel Contest

Objective: To get kids of any age to use their imagination to create stories, learning vocabulary and improving grammer and English skills.

Assignment: Each child is given 1 word, and they must create a story around that word.

For example: If the word is happy, the story must revolve around happiness, what creates happiness for their characters and in the end why they remain happy

Materials needed: Paper, Pens a dictionary, thesaurus etc.

Words to be used : Lets say there are 15 Kids

Middle
Hope
Ocean
Amusement
Sad
Creative
Judge
Angry
Begin
End
Choice
Fulfill
Believe
Faith

As you can see I have used a lot of feeling words, this excercise can also help a child to explore his or her feelings and get comfortable with writing them down on paper.
