OT: How do I open the floodgates?

Since childhood, I've known that God put me on this earth to be a writer...but I have nothing to show for it! I have all the technical stuff down; my strength is spelling and grammar (at least until I became a stay at home mom and my brain started turning to mush) but I stuggle to find any ideas that are interesting and original. I don't even journal anymore. I used to when I was younger, but all of it is too personal to take any ideas from. How do I open the floodgates and let out my inner writer?
