A place for adults to discuss writing and write intelligently on any topic, from E and up |
That depends on how you define "semi-graphic". To pretend that teens don't have sex is not just stupid, it's irresponsible...but to glorify it to them is too. Teens make bad decisions...FREQUENTLY. That's why they're not considered adults when they can, for the most part, take care of themselves. The last thing they need is to have yet ANOTHER medium glorifying sex to them. They're certainly getting it from everywhere else...movies, tv, music, video games, magazines, school...everywhere. If it's handled properly, and in a way that they can relate too....it could be deemed appropriate, but that's a mighty thin line. "You know, I rather like this God fellow. Very theatrical, you know. Pestilence here, a plague there. Omnipotence ... gotta get me some of that." (Stewie Griffin)
