Well, I think you've taken a big step toward helping yourself by talking to others, by seeing psychiatrists/psychologists, and by meeting other people who suffer from the same or similar problems. It's always good to be with people dealing with the same issues, because they can offer support and ideas to help. We don't really do monthly activities, not that I know of, but we do try to stay as active as possible, because it's important to there for everyone. I'm sure there are little things you can everyday in the way of self-help. For instance, you can try writing down everything you did right, and tape that to your wall, so you focus on positive things instead of negative ones. My therapist told me that writing things down helps people, even if they never look at that paper again. So, write down some goals, or some good things about yourself, and focus on that. You don't have to look at the paper again, just write it down and spend time meditating on what you wrote. I hope that helps! I'm really not too sure what to say... faeriegirl25 ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** "Invalid Item" "Healthy Habits Bandwagon" "Invalid Item" |
