A place for adults to discuss writing and write intelligently on any topic, from E and up |
Mine is not a "glib" answer. Yes, there are sometimes horrific considerations and decisions to be made. These decisions are, much more often than not, made under the auspices of a Medical Doctor who is attending to the Mother as the patient, dealing with multiple healthcare issues--not on an outpatient, or "drop in" basis. Over thirty years of patient counselling (26 of those as a Hospital Chaplain), 30 years as an RN, and the Step-Father and Husband of three such personal choices attend my view. I don't come to it lightly, as one might believe. Nor do I come to it casually. Just so ya know. |
