Controversial Topic Discussion

Immigration is natural as a species - it is a long term migratory pattern. Heck, I'd be on the NCC1701 and immigrate my self out into the cosmos if I could. I find the whole subject of legal/illegal human migratory patterns a moot point - one which only becomes inflammatory when you touch on the issues which surround it; "Get off my land!" syndrome, as I like to call it (and yes, the Education system comes under the angry farmer tag-line too). We're all immigrants, whether you follow the scientific proposal of amino-acids landing on earth, as the sneaky building block of life on a meteorite. Or, if you have a more modern approach and follow the Pilgrim Fathers and the convict settlers of Oz. Me? heck, even Acme's an immigrant; there's a rich British family tree which tracks me back across the globe through several marriages and changes of country. We're territorial animals; even when we're nomadic
