Controversial Topic Discussion

Okay, here's my two-cents Yes, nisawrite states a lot of very good points in her discussion. On the other hand, how many immigrants have we let into this country that have taken advantage of our hospitality? That have terrorized American Citizens? Gone on a rampage and killed innocent people? Not to mention, when they come to this country, they are given many benefits that born American citizens don't even receive.

Thousands of American citizens do not have affordable health care. Many do not even have any health care at all. Yet, immigrants receive free medical care. Does that seem fair? It doesn't to me. Immigrants don't have to pay taxes for seven years. Most of them live better and eat better than many US American Citizens that were born and raised here.


There are positive and negative sides to immigration, but it's just not realistic to look at only one side.
