Absolute Horror Book Forum

I know I'm a little late here, (its been awhile since I've done anything on the site), but i found these posts and couldnt help but reply.

Has anyone ever read "Intensity"? This is by far one of Koontzs best works, a thriller that grips you within the first twenty pages and doesn't drop the suspense until the end.

I agree that Koontz is far more plot driven than character driven, but his books still read great, and its not necessarily a bad thing. He's written many great novels, and many bad novels, just like any other writer.

The only writer I have yet to be greatly dissapoinyed by is Richard Laymon. Has anyone ever read any of his books?
