Sorry Maryann I'll detract my claws now. You're right of course, people should see 'Enterprise' and make up their own mind.

I still remember when I had the biggest crush on Wesley Crusher - excuse the pun - and all of my friends thought his character was a total dweeb. I thought he looked HOT in a Starfleet uniform in Season 4 ST:TNG.

It was thanks to seeing Wesley that first got me hooked on ST:TNG. And then Data became my second favourite

I loved Riker's comment in a season 1 episode when Data first experimented with art and Geordie was with him; "A blind man teaching an android to paint? Now that's one for the history books." (not an exact quote, but it got stuck in my mind like that)
