ABC Challenge (Round 2--Reversed)

The gauntlet of literary challenge having been thrown down in the digitally virtual faces of all who scan the multitude of contests presented within the limits and confines of this the most noble of writers' sites - yea, in the very faces of those poor souls clicking forth in search of one or more contests of words - and having the goal of conquering said contests by virtue of their timely submission of items both old and new, by turns pithy or witty, by means of which submissions to challenge all pretenders to the title of "Best Writer on the Site!", I, though fain to offer written battle to a creature so wondrous fair - fellow Army veteran though you may be - do hereby and herewith accept your challenge and, in so doing, direct you to my own humble entry, the study of which will reveal a sentence consisting of not less than the required one hundred words <155 words in this sentence>.
