Gentle Giantesses

Here’s another idea I’ve had.

Two 18 year old teenagers (One boy one girl) get transported to a Lord of the Rings/ Chronicles of Narnia place. A curse is causing the girl to grow and she becomes the boy’s protector in a way. She’ll grow in spurts that can range from being small and insignificant to major spurts that increases her height dramatically.
The mission of the two teenagers are to find a cure for the girl’s growing condition and to get back home (Similar to Samurai Jack and the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon series). There’s going to be magic and different things like that in the story.
About the characters. I wanted the boy and girl to have been best friends since they were in kindergarten. But they’re not lovers. I wanted to call the girl Mary but I’m not sure what I’ll call the boy yet. I wanted them to be like normal students at a high school. They won’t be in the popular group or the outcasts and nerds.
