Writer's Fallout Shelter

i am a new member and i'm working on a novel- i need feedback and help keeping my fire for finishing it. that said- i got an email today saying that not all publishers appreciate having work posted publicly online before you get published-- does that mean i shouldn't use WDC? what do you think?
