Well, the review consisting of just punctuation is obviously an abuse of the auto-reward system. You can report this here: "Submit a Complaint" Open in new Window.

Personally I find that if I want serious reviews, I get more of them if I post on the Public Review Request page or in an in-depth review forum (especially if I explain that I'll give gps to in-depth, honest critiques).

Also, a reply from SM from an earlier post asking about longer character length requirements: "Re: Auto-Rewards: Different Amounts For Character Length"  Open in new Window.
