I recently had the pleasure of helping judge a contest. One of the entries was a two word 'story'--it wasn't really, but the imagery was fantastic-- "Chainsaw suicide." It reminded me of the old Hemingway story "For sale, baby shoes. Never worn."
Brevity is a gift. I certainly get caught up in using 50 words when two will do. For today's exercise, why not see if you can write a short story in less than 300 words. Arakun runs a fantastic contest with daily prompts that could earn you GPs, just for liberating your muse!
