Most of the windows in which one can write a message in addition to performing a task, such as giving a merit badge or an awardicon, provides a Preview or Edit button to allow the person to edit that text before submitting or confirming the action. One notable exception is the confirmation for the My Gift Points window. Are there any plans to add this edit capability to this window? Or, have I just missed something obvious? I had occasion today to send GPs to a group. I added a note and pressed "Continue to Confirmation." Then I noticed I had misspelled a word. I couldn't find any way to edit the text, so I pressed the browser's back button fully expecting the text to disappear (since the browser hadn't saved anything). I was right, and fortunately had copied my text to the clipboard so was able to re-create the message easily. Normally though, I'd just hit Back without thinking (I suspect most folks would do that), and I would have lost my message.  |
