I am amazed that ten years have flown by, but I can look in my own mirror and see the effects of those years. I can also roam this site and see the effects of change, growth, love and loss. As I said in my "Thank You Writing.Com" there were times that I was not very active, but my membership was always kept, knowing, no matter how far I go, this "writing home" is here for me to return to when I am able. Also, in searching through my portfolio, I find the oldest item, maybe the first I posted which changed me from a registered member into an author. This item, "Something" brings back thoughts of a dark, painful time in my life, a time I don't forget, and I realize that in joining Writing.Com (Stories.Com at that time), was a major "highLIGHT" that shown a steady beam, keeping me afloat, in those dark days. Thank you, to all who make this an awesome WritingDotComWorld!
