Godly Words of Encouragement

There are many inspiring verses in the Bible and as a believer, I have found several that have helped me tremendously. One such verse comes from Dt. 31:8: “"The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."

Wonderful passage…..This passage has helped me so many times. In fact, I recite these words before I go anywhere—especially before I undergo anything serious like surgery, a medical appointment, when I know I will be meeting with difficult people, anything where I feel I need God’s protection and guidance. In fact, every day I say these words. I can say in all honesty, that these words constantly give me comfort and get me through situations smoother and I don't feel alone. In addition, I also need to say that these words give me a “spiritual” comfort—the kind of comfort that only comes from someone who cares for me.
