Actually this is a very good thread of discussion! Excellent question Deb! And nice answer Beck! The only thing I would add is do the exercises quickly as you are encouraged to do. Accept the things that you can answer and do your best with them until you have exhausted yourself. Then trust what you have written! This stuff is straight from the muse/subconscious mind. This is where your story lives. Even when you may not be working on it your subconscious is. Have you worked on your story, put it down, only 2-3 hours later to have an excellent idea occur, or a particular problem with your story is suddenly solved? Something major to happen? This is the process. Don't limit yourself by getting stuck somewhere. Do what you can. What you can't put it aside and come back to it later! You may find that you come back to it actually better able to handle it!
