Greets, We assign the Review Credits that the site uses for ranking Public Reviewers based on the GP amount selected. The Credit System is based on 9 credit levels spread over the 9 GP options. It's important to note that Public Review Credits are not assigned "1 per GP" as this would mean that a reviewer who receives one 10,000 GP award would immediately so far surpass someone who receives a 25 GPs, there'd be no catching up. Instead of the 10k being 400 times more credits than the 25 GPs, it's only 9 times more credits. This is the reason we have 9 set amounts and the reason we picked those specific 9 amounts. Remember you can always send GPs to a person for review manually, in any amount. The credit system, however, has a more specific purpose than just gifting GPs to a reviewer and we have to keep that in mind when we look at the GP options available. And to address the other question in this thread, this is also of course also why we don't allow Review Crediting via any amount of GPs. (Though I'd note it's also a lot faster for someone like me who, when I find time to credit, does a lot of crediting at one time. I'd rather not manually type in a GP amount each time.) Hope this helps and best wishes, ~~SM
