Write about two strangers who meet at a tavern. One is to trade off a certain object of great power, but do they do it? Why or why not? Why does this stranger want this object and how did the other come by to get it?

Objects to consider:

an amulet of some kind
a map
a book of invisible ink
a sword
a dragon's tooth/talon/scale
a unicorn's tear
a vial filled with poison
a glass rose
a bird's feather

And any other objects on might think of. This prompt can be a fantasy piece,but you may use it to explore other genres as well. Be creative!!!
