Yes, my plans are: I'm giving a very good reason for my bad lady to be so nasty to the nice one. Also I'm not making her all bad, and I'm not making the goody-two-shoes all good.
It is just that the nastier one will have a stronger character, the same reason why actors love to play nasties, and she'll take probably more pages than the other. Like you said, it will be an experiment for me in a way, as I will be parting ways from what the teachings of creative-writing gurus generalize.
