Noticing Newbies

Hi, I'm Jeff and this is my first day here!

Almost all of my writing is poetry and most of it is in notebooks I'll never see again, but I'll start my introduction by sharing one of my most recent, and favorite pieces:

"Melt" 

I haven't wasted any time putting it into the newbie contest so wish me luck! Any feedback before the deadline (Feb. 26) would be great!

I like obscure and indie music, especially western-style rock, ranging from Modest Mouse to The Reverend Horton Heat. I play guitar (well-enough), and I love movies most people have never seen. I'm also a big fan of meeting new people so I'm excited to hear back from all of you.

I'd really like to post that kind of thing here but I'll need an upgraded account. If anyone could help me figure out a way to offer commission pieces like this for gift points (if it's even allowed?) I'd be really grateful. I checked out the market but wasn't really sure on how to use it. The plan is to trade original visual poems like that till I can get an account that will let me host images, and then maybe keep selling commissions to by other people paid accounts.
