Noticing Newbies

Greetings Everyone.

I wandered onto this site and just signed up, so I thought I'd meander around and try to get a sense of everything.

I started writing in college years ago, but never really explored the idea further until about a year ago. After showing a few colleagues what I was working on (an adult fantasy novel), they strongly suggested I pursue my writing further. So here I am, drifting about, trying to soak up as much as possible and learn.

After some prodding, I've changed to YA, which is a little out of my element but a goal I hope to succeed and grow.

I hope to stroll around and get to know many of you (after I locate a compass and find my bearings), and perhaps share some stories over tea
