Make a corruption-proof wish, and corrupt somebody else's wish. |
Granted, you have a perfect breakfast with a perfect man whispering sweetly to you, then you go shopping for yourself and while you're at it you buy 100 blankets for homeless people, then when you return home you have perfect dinner, served by a perfect man, and go to sleep, knowing that tomorrow will be a good day, too. And it is a good day, perfect, to be exact, because it is the same day. Food, shopping, good deeds, going home to perfect man serving dinner while whispering sweet nothings in your ear. It's the same exact day, same food, same man, etc. Unlike the poor guy in Groundhog Day, you cannot change anything. You find yourself walking like an automaton, making the same comments, eating, etc. Every day for eternity. Every stinking day. I wish my desk was 3" lower, so I can lower my chair, so I can work with my feet resting on the ground (but not attached to the ground).
