Noticing Newbies

Hi there,

Just wanting to introduce myself -

My name is Sally, I'm British, 47 and live in the English countryside but nearish to the coast. I am currently writing my first novel and also writing short stories for various competitions.

I have put my first story in my portfolio and have found the reviews so far really helpful.

I became more serious about my writing, especially the novel, when I had to retire early from teaching which I loved because I have Multiple Sclerosis. My illness doesn't define me however, not at all!

I am really enjoying being part of this Writing community. It is very addictive and a bit of a distraction from my writing if I'm honest but hey, we all procrastinate!
