Hi, LewisAJ Author Icon, and welcome to Writing.Com. I think I was much like you when I found this place. I also had bits and pieces of stories and ideas on scraps of paper ALL over the place. I don't know that WDC helped me organize them. But they did encourage me to start writing. I still have scraps, but now I actually use them. *Wink*

Best way to get started is fill out your BioBlock and Biography tab. That way folks will get to know you, especially those with similar interests. Networking with other writers is a great way to improve your own writing.
