Noticing Newbies

Hi! Welcome to the community here at WDC!

It's great to have goals and dreams, like you do. Not everyone does and I feel sorry for those people because that's what keeps a person young and alive, even as they grow older.

You'll find members here have various goals. Some want to write because that's what makes them feel good. Others long to be published. (Like me!) We all come from different backgrounds and all around the world. And the staff and members are friendly, helpful, and encouraging, so don't be shy about asking questions.

Don't forget to fill in you BIO BLOCK on your main portfolio page.

And why not join in on an activity/contest just to get your feet wet? It might feel a little overwhelming at first, but no worries! We've all been there, done that. You don't need to learn everything there is to know here. A good place to start is "Writing.Com 101" .
