It's great you've already made some connections here! It's a wonderful community, with lots of friendly and helpful people. This community survives on the give and take we all supply: we all come here seeking feedback! I've found that the best way to receive feedback is to provide feedback to others. I've also found that reading and reviewing other's work has taught me a lot that I can apply in my own writing. So it's a win-win, even if the person you reviewed doesn't directly review your own work.

This place can be overwhelming and confusing at first, too, so don't hesitate to ask questions privately of anyone or post questions on forums. I learn something new here almost every day! A couple really great newbie forums are "Invalid Item"  and "Invalid Item" , so check them out!
