Absolutely, darling!

The good thing about Twitter is it takes about 2 minutes, especially if you link it to your blog. And you can actually post snippets of your stuff in the blog as well as regular blog entries; just be careful that it's not stuff you plan on trying to publish (or it's a "deleted scene" or something). Just consider it part of your job as an author, really. Once you do that, finding time becomes a bit more imperative (and easier to justify).
