Sihaya Author Icon The query letter made me pause also, as well as the market definition exercise. I hadn't thought about my story in that way yet, but it was interesting to consider the business side of writing.

I really liked the bonus assignment on Tuesday 10/6 (literary devices). It really helped me to come up with a few ideas. I tried to come up with something for most of the literary devices listed. I won't be using all of them, in fact probably only one or two will be used, but it was fun to come up with them. Also helped me to understand more where I want to go with the story.
