October Novel Prep Challenge

Yeah...I admit, this story has been gestating in my heart and soul for...10 years, at least. It used to be a lot more fantastical, but I decided what I needed to do was pull out my inner historian and let her roam free. The realism is exactly what I needed to make myself feel OK about this, but right now it's what's hanging me up. I need to find something that sounds cool, but keeps that historical nature.

I have tried a few of the generators, but too many of them are going overboard in the fantasy. "Lord of the Flame" sounds like what an owner of a gay bar in San Francisco would call himself and that's the closest they've come to something even related to what I want.

*le sigh* My own standards bringing me down again...
