Whenever the blank sheet of paper stares up at me, I look it dead in the eye... sometimes I have to draw an eye on the paper.... and grab my pencil. I tell the blank sheet of paper to watch me win! If I only write a few words, it seems to stimulate the imagination. Of course, some lyric-free jazz playing in the background and a pot of coffee doesn't hurt.
