The good thing of having had this story tumbling around in my head for a decade is I've got a lot of things already figured out. I know the broad swathes very well, too; the first half is based on the myth of Isis and Osiris and the second half is based on the consequences of being outsmarted by a Trickster (aka Samuil), and because I thought ending the story with God coming back to life was too trite and tied up in a bow. I wanted a more ambiguous ending. So my ending is, at most, a "it's done for now" ending. -Quaddy
