October Novel Prep Challenge

So my backstory is shorter than I intended to be, I hope this is okay for the contest. I wanted to give almost like a monologue feel for one of the antagonists without giving away too much about his race or reasoning. My main plot line is still very much in progress, but I'm beginning to feel like this story may extend beyond more than one novel, almost like a series lol.
