October Novel Prep Challenge

I think it all depends on what you're using the prologue for. Depending on the story, I'll sometimes skip the prologue in the past, but since I've begun writing more I'll read everything, even the author's notes. So if it lays out and spends the whole thing writing begetting and this happened, then that happened and so on... I don't necessarily think it's needed. If it's a creation story or explaining what happened pre-story, it very well might be needed.
