October Novel Prep Challenge

I thought I had this story all worked out in my head. I've been thinking about it all summer. I have whole chapters floating around in there. Prep has been easy in some respects--it was just writing down what was in my head. But surprising in others. For instance, my real protagonist turns out to be my female lead, not the male. I was not giving her the proper emphasis or fleshing out. When revising the outline, I realized my beginning is very weak. Still have to work on that.
