October Novel Prep Challenge

Judging by your name, you're going old school zombies? Are you sticking to reanimated corpses or are you adding in the soul-binding element, as well? I think it's fascinating...they believe the soul sticks with the body for some time after death and you can literally bribe their guardian of souls with a fifth of rum so he'll look the other way! I did research into this for a campfire. My character is an octoroon (her grandmother was a runaway slave of island decent) and not into Voodoo herself, but she has to know the stories, so I did the research.
