October Novel Prep Challenge

My ancestor wrote a book from his time period. To keep your book cleanly set in an historical setting, please pay close attention to the spellings that would have been used in books, (if there were scribes to write them) and to the word choices that would have been in place at that time.

My ancestor felt motivated to record the family history for future generations, inclusive of how the family name came into existence, land ownership, who stood to inherit, the sadness at the little ones who died, the pride at the accomplishments of his offspring ... Perspective is everything. The choices a female would make are incredibly different from the choices a male would make, especially in an historic time period.
