Well welcome aboard!! I was also an avid reader and thought the same. The journey to writing is overwhelming , fun and everything I write is an accomplishment. Glad to have you with us and good for you for reviewing!!
The gp points are used for many purposes. You can use them to forward them to groups in need, save them for your own upgrade on the site, use them to buy gifts in the gift shop, they have alot of cool stuff for that writer on the go. You will see as you go along that the gp's are awesome. the more you review the more you get!! It is that easy!
