So good to see you focusing on your writing rather than someone else's

I do like the list of 'genres' you've given. While I'm a romantic sort myself I do love ghosts, demons and heart-wrenching love. Looking forward to seeing what you write. And I love Phantom too - have been lucky enough to see it twice on stage now and could sing it in my sleep!

Some contests you might like to consider as you get more and more involved here:

"Supernatural Writing Contest - Closed" 
"Poison Apple Theater"  - though the owner seems to have gone a bit AWOL at the moment
"Twisted Tales Contest" 
"SCREAMS!!!"  - this one's a daily contest and new blood is always welcome
"Invalid Item"  - rotates through four genres, one of which is horror

By the way, I've read both your Exercises. I think you'd fit in at Screams!!! awesomely. I was really taken with The Voice - though also completely at a loss as to what the character was. Would certainly like to read more!
