Group page search capability was requested before and is on the to do list:
"Search for Group Members"  Open in new Window.
"Re: Search Feature within Groups"  Open in new Window. by The StoryMaster Author Icon

The Biography tab has an optional Group Membership slot which people who wish to make it known can use.
