Yes, Karen left once before for real-life reasons. She missed WDC so much she came back. She was a Preferred Author when she left the first time. Missing out on the last three promotions really upset her and today seemed to be her final straw. I hoped she would sleep on it and remember just what this place gives her on a day to day basis, but as I said, she mailed me and then deleted her account.

I know it's daft, but I feel so sad. We joined within a week of each other and have always been such great WDC friends. After three years it will seem so strange around here without her.
